In this section, we’ll explore a series of dynamic and flowing movements designed to circulate your Qi, free your fascia, and awaken your energy from head to toe. Each movement combines physical mechanics with energetic flow to help you feel stronger, more open, and deeply connected to let you move with intention and unlock the powerful synergy of breath, body, and energy!

Introduction

In this session, we’re introducing fun, dynamic movements designed to ramp up your energy circulation, enhance coordination, and connect your mind and body in new ways. You’ll explore flowing, martial arts-inspired exercises that awaken both hemispheres of the brain while purging stagnant energy from your system.

Twisting Teacups

In this session, we’re diving into the “Twisting Teacups” exercise. This movement is both fun and functional, helping you open up your fascia while circulating your qi. You’ll be exploring intricate wrist, elbow, and shoulder movements with a playful focus on balance, coordination, and flow.

Swallow Skims The Lake

In this session, we’re focusing on a dynamic exercise that is designed to circulate your qi while gently stretching your waist, hip flexors, and shoulders. You’ll practice smooth, flowing motions inspired by the graceful flight of a bird, building both mobility and strength in a fun and engaging way.

Dragons Part The Clouds

In this session, we’re diving into a beautiful exercise to open up your hips, shoulders, and energy flow. You’ll focus on pulling energy up through the body while maintaining a straight spine and steady breath. This movement also helps expand your energy field as we practice both physical mechanics and a deeper energetic connection.

Arms Flowing Through Water

In this session, we cover a soothing and powerful exercise designed to enhance energy flow through the belt channel while improving balance, mobility, and confidence. By combining fluid arm movements with grounded stances, you’ll free up blocked energy, strengthen your core, and cultivate a deep sense of stability. This practice invites you to connect with your power and feel the transformational effects of moving with intention and grace.

Leaf Blowing In The Breeze

In this session you’ll learn a flowing Qigong exercise that enhances energy circulation, shoulder mobility, and relaxation. Through simple figure-eight movements, you’ll align breath, body, and energy while exploring layers of coordination and mindfulness. It’s a beautiful way to connect with your energy, feel balanced, and enjoy the meditative flow.

Cloud Arms (a.k.a. Parries)

In this session, we explore a graceful Qigong technique that enhances coordination, ambidexterity, and full-body Qi circulation. Through spiraling arm movements and gentle weight shifts, you’ll learn to flow like a cloud while protecting your energy centers. It’s a beautiful practice to connect your breath, body, and energy for relaxation and vitality.

Catching Stars (a.k.a. Whip)

In this session, we explore a technique inspired by Tai Chi principles, which enhances wrist flexibility, balances the body’s energy, and strengthens proprioception. You’ll learn how to flow through the movement with ease, stimulate energy gates, and clear the throat chakra, ultimately fostering symmetry, ambidexterity, and a deeper connection between your physical and energy body. Perfect for refining your coordination and unlocking a graceful flow!

White Crane Spreads Wings

In this session, we dive into a graceful Qigong technique that improves balance, strengthens your legs, and enhances full-body coordination. You’ll practice the foundational cat stance, develop symmetry in your movements, and experience how this elegant motion circulates qi, opens the chest, and elevates your physical and energetic alignment. It’s a transformative practice that feels as good as it looks!

Stroking The Bird's Tail

In this session we explore a classic Tai Chi-inspired movement designed to cultivate ambidexterity, flow, and coordination. By learning to circulate Qi through rhythmic, rotational movements, you’ll develop a sense of harmony between the left and right sides of your body while feeling the energy flow dynamically. This practice invites you to embrace both the meditative and martial aspects of the art, leaving you centered, relaxed, and revitalized.

Unifying Heaven & Earth

In this session, we dive into a beautiful Qigong exercise, exploring its layers of physical coordination, energy flow, and breathwork. You’ll learn to harmonize the energies of the heavens and the earth within your body while refining your structure and flow. This practice not only strengthens your body but also introduces a sense of inner balance and prepares you for deeper meditative states in future training.

Come To Center Tips

In this session, we’ll focus on “coming to center,” a graceful way to transition out of Qigong and Tai Chi exercises. You’ll refine your ability to coordinate movement with weight shifts, bringing energy upward to balance and ground the body. This practice helps you integrate the benefits of your movements, leaving you feeling centered, uplifted, and in harmony with your flow.

With a focus on hydration, mindful breathing, and fascia release, every class invites you to connect deeply with your body and discover greater ease and mobility. Whether practicing these exercises on their own or as an introduction to a larger energy practice, you’re creating space for transformation and leaving each practice feeling stronger and more energized.

Welcome to “Free Your Fascia,” where we’ll explore how to unlock the hidden power of your body’s largest organ—your fascia. By hydrating, stretching, and freeing this connective tissue, you’ll open up energy pathways, release tension, and restore vitality.

A Few Tips

Before we dive into the exercises, here are a few key tips to get the most out of your fascia training. These are things to be aware of that can have a huge impact on the benefits of your fascia training, including hydration, breathwork, check-ins, 3 Ps, gentle preparation, technique awareness and sequence awareness.

Punch, Chop & Grab

This is a dynamic fascia freeing technique designed to awaken the energy pathways in your arms, wrists, and upper body. Through slow, deliberate movements, we’ll stretch, strengthen, and hydrate the fascia while building grip integrity and power. Really dive in and feel the transformation in every movement.

Press Into Heaven

Also known as “Separating Heaven and Earth,” this is where you’ll learn to stretch and open the fascia from the heel of your hand to the heel of your foot, unlocking tight areas and improving your range of motion. Take your time, breathe deeply, and let your body guide you as we release tension and create space for energy to flow.

Embrace the World

In this session, you’ll learn a technique to open up your chest, lengthen your spine, and release tension through corkscrew movements that activate fascia from fingertip to fingertip. This practice not only enhances flexibility and posture but also encourages energy flow through your entire body. You’ll leave feeling lighter, more open, and deeply connected to your breath and movement.

Climbing the Sacred Mountain

In this session, you’ll learn how to free the fascia and revitalize your spine through gentle, accessible techniques that improve strength, flexibility, and energy flow. By activating dormant areas and recalibrating your nervous system, you’ll release tension, enhance mobility, and feel deeply alive. Whether easing back pain or building resilience, this practice meets you where you are.

Flying Tiger / Tiger Claw Press

Get ready for a fun and dynamic practice with “Flying Tiger and Tiger Claw Press.” This exercise combines strength, flexibility, and fascia freeing to energize your arms, shoulders, and spine while building grip strength. Tap into your inner tiger to really feel the power in every movement!

Crouching Tiger & Dragon Looks Behind

This session focuses on spinal mobility, fascia release, and energetic flow. Its broken into phases: perfecting the stance, incorporating dynamic arm positions, and integrating twisting and stretching movements. With clear biomechanics, we emphasized mindful progression, protecting joints, and finding strength through breath. By the end, the session harmonizes movement, breath, and posture, leaving everyone with a sense of greater flexibility, openness, and vibrant energy.

Turn to Face the Moon

This session focuses on a beautifully flowing fascia release exercise designed to open the spine, ribcage, and hips. We explore three levels of progression, incorporating breath, visualization, and gentle rotations to engage the fascia along the torso and limbs. Emphasis is placed on maintaining alignment, using “skin breathing” to draw energy into the body, and moving with effortless action (Wu Wei). By the end you’ll feel more spacious, grounded, and connected to your body’s natural rhythm.

Bow & Arrow

Today’s session introduces a powerful fascia stretch that combines strength, flexibility, and focus. We break down the technique, emphasizing alignment, breath, and dynamic tension to open the chest, arms, and legs while building stability in a horse stance. The movement incorporates warrior-like energy, guiding participants to engage deeply and visualize their target with precision. By the end, you’ll feel stronger, more open, and energized, with a clear sense of balance and focus.

Qigong Warrior Pose

In this session, we explore a dynamic posture designed to build strength, balance, and flexibility. We carefully break down the components—from the corkscrew stance to the coordinated arm movements—while emphasizing alignment, breath, and mindfulness. This practice is perfect for those recovering from tightness or old injuries, as it gently opens the shoulders, spine, and hips. The focus is on moving with intention, treating the practice as a meditative flow, and always prioritizing ease over strain.

Warrior’s Lunge & Fold

In this session, we dive into a powerful series for opening the hips, spine, and legs while activating the body’s fascia. We focus on creating long lines of energy from fingertips to heels, stretching the hip flexors, and lengthening the spine. The practice blends forward stances, dynamic reaching, and mindful folding, inviting participants to explore strength, mobility, and balance at their own pace. By the end, we’re centered and energized, with a fully awakened connection between breath, body, and mind.

Preparing the temple—your body, mind, and soul—is like tuning an instrument before a performance; it ensures everything is aligned and ready to play in harmony. By grounding yourself in presence and intention at the start of your practice, you create the foundation for energy to flow freely and deeply. These simple techniques amplify the benefits of Qigong, opening the door to clarity, vitality, and connection.

In this session, we continue to honor the body as the home of life force energy. Through foundational practices like Wuji stance, we balance yin and yang, ground ourselves, and connect with the natural flow of energy. By checking posture, breathing deeply, and setting an intention, you’ll create a powerful starting point for transformation and greater awareness.

The Art Of The Bow

Preparation Principles

The Three Ps

In this session, we explore the ‘Three Ps’—priming, processing, and perception. The 4 Big Gongs

In this session, we’re diving into the “4 Big Gongs,” powerful techniques designed to open up your body, boost energy flow, and revitalize your immune system. Welcome to the Fundamentals! This series of training videos will give you everything you need to build a strong, joyful Qigong practice. The Fundamentals is all about establishing your foundation, guiding you through the essential postures, movements, breathwork and principles that make Qigong so effective and enjoyable. Each video builds on the last, helping you step-by-step understand and eventually master Qigong with clarity and confidence. This is where it all begins!

Introduction

Our goal is to deliver the Gold Standard when it comes to Qigong education. This module aims to provide top-quality, comprehensive training in the fundamentals of Qigong. While the curriculum is extensive, there’s no need to feel overwhelmed—you’ll only need basic skills to start. We include extra content because:

  1. These fundamentals are the foundation for later training
  2. You’ll regularly revisit these concepts as you advance
  3. You have unlimited time to gradually master these skills

The Fundamentals is broken up into two sections – The Practice and The Principles.

The Practice covers the foundational postures, stances, footwork, balancing, stepping, transitions, attributes, breathwork, mindset and the energy ecosystem. Think of this as the external training and the biomechanics of practice.

The Principles cover additional energy art essentials and philosophical concepts that help you grasp the intricacies of this ancient art as well as practice correctly and safely. Think of this as the internal training and the energetics of practice.

Energy Ecosytem

This session is all about exploring the Energy Ecosystem, learning all about your energy channels, centers, gates and much much more. Take notes, soak it in, and remember, this training is here for you to revisit anytime as you deepen your Qigong journey.

Stances & Shimmies

In this session, we’re diving into important postural principles to help keep your spine long and aligned, plus protect your knees, hips and ankles. Get ready to build a solid foundation with these key stances and shimmies that bring fluidity and strength to your Qigong practice.

8 Stances: Shimmies (count shimmies in the 8), Wuji, Natural, Pigeon, Soft Horse, Deep Horse, Forward & Cat.

Main Standing Posture

In this session, we’re grounding into the power of the main standing posture—a recalibrating posture that your body will soon crave. This standing posture quickly becomes a position of comfort and balance, aligning your energy beautifully. Embrace the calm, and let’s continue to deepen!

Footwork & Balancing

In this fundamentals session, we’re focusing on footwork and balance—starting with our foundational ready position, Wuji. You’ll learn how to “balance before you balance,” creating a steady base with soft knees and grounded hips. This gentle approach to alignment prepares you to move with ease, setting the stage for fluid, balanced movements in every step. Let’s get grounded and ready to flow!

Transitions & Attributes

In this session, we dive into the essentials of harmonizing movement, breath, and focus to cultivate flow, presence, and precision in your practice. Through techniques like Tai Chi arms and microcosmic orbit movements, we explore how rising and rooting, symmetry, and smoothness elevate your energy flow. You’ll learn to synchronize breath with movement, fostering a sense of grace, ease, and grounding.

Qigong Breathing

In this session, we’re diving into the heart of one of the most powerful aspects of Qigong—breathwork. Breath is not just a physical act; it’s a bridge to life force energy, a gateway to deeper awareness, and a tool to unlock vitality and harmony within. Together, we’ll explore both the mechanics and energetics of breath, activating your diaphragm, expanding your lung capacity, and tapping into the subtle, life-enhancing energy that flows through and around you.

Sacred Sounds

In this session, we’ll explore the profound connection between sound, vibration, and the energetic flow within your body. Together, we’ll uncover how natural sounds—like the sacred yawn or the rhythm of your breath—can harmonize your system, release tension, and awaken your vitality.

More training is coming your way soon. We’re going to release this training in chunks so as not to overwhelm anyone. Enjoy taking your time to master the basics, so you have a solid foundation to build upon. When you go slow in the beginning, you will learn much faster later!

These online learning sessions are the Training Sessions that are designed to help you embody the principles and practices so you can become a confident Satori Certified Qigong Practitioner even if you have zero experience with Qigong.

(You will have forever access to these training sessions inside the Satori Method Academy)

Several of the Training Sessions will be open in the Academy before the Practice Pods even begin… so you’ll have the opportunity to go through them in advance.

Each session is designed for maximum attention and support, so you can get the most out of your journey. And you can get personalized coaching.

Even though these Q&A sessions are supplemental, we’ve found that people usually have the same or similar issues and questions… So even if you’re an independent learner and not joining us live, you’ll find a lot of helpful information by watching these replays in the Academy!!

The Practice Pods:

Practice Pods are virtual twice-weekly ZOOM sessions where you’ll get together with students around the world to practice the moves, and poses you’ve learned.

The opportunity to participate in a Practice Pod happens on Zoom every Monday and Wednesday (starting Wednesday, Dec 4th) – and they are totally optional – meaning that you can choose to attend none, one or both each week
Practice Pod Day/Times:
Mondays at 9am Central / 7am PT / 10am ET (other time zones)
Wednesdays at 6pm Central / 4pm PT / 7pm ET (other zones)

The Practice Pod sessions will continue on Mondays and Wednesday for 12 weeks – taking breaks for holidays, etc.

For instance, No Practice Pod on Wed Dec 25th or Jan 1st.

Your Bonuses:

Your Bonuses will open for you towards the end of the 16 weeks together. This is where they will be the most valuable. They will live in the Satori Method Academy.

The Exam:

We’ll talk more about getting Certified to teach as the training starts to wrap up, but if you choose to get officially Certified, then you’ll take part in a group Zoom Exam demonstrating various moves.

You’ll be mailed a Certificate once you pass the exam. If you choose not to be certified at that time, you’ll still be eligible to attend Certification exams offered during the next year. (You will need to be paid in full before getting Certified. If you’d like to upgrade to a 1-pay and save even more you can do this within the first 60 days.)

Training Session #1

Welcome to the first “Teacher Training” session. In this session, we break down the training lesson plans and look at the importance of training “as if” you’re going to teach, even if you’re not sure how that’s going to unfold for you in this moment. You’ll be introduced to the term Budo (a code of purpose) and the power this gives you. There’s also important insights about dealing with distractions or barriers that might show up for you during this teacher training… and so much more!!

 

Training Session #2

In your second training session, not only do we focus on Movement Mastery, but we also introduce the 6 D’s of Dynamic Teaching.  You’ll also learn the way to Construct Corrections that sink in and without dis-empowering your students. This is something you’ll want to implement, not just for your students, but also when you are mentally correcting yourself!

 

Training Session #3

In this third training session we take a visual look at the 6 Ds of Dynamic Teaching and share additional insights from the 6Ds that will ensure you become and awesome teacher.  We also share with you our “Motivation Formula” and our “C.A.R.E. Business Growth Formula”. This session is definitely packed full of QI 🙂

 

Training Session #4

In this fourth training session you get a complete overview of all the “attributes” that can (and should) be developed to cultivate a successful Qigong practice. We cover the attributes for the Physical, Mental and Energetic aspects of Qigong! Teachers who understand the attributes practice at this deep level will never run out of things to share during their sessions 🙂

Training Session #6

In this session, you’ll learn important Postural Principles that will help you find (for yourself and your students) the postures or positions that best facilitate the flow of energy.  And as a little bonus, you’ll learn how you can help your students to feel more energy in the beginning – before the session.

 

Training Session #7

In this session we open up with a conversation about some of the “spiritual” experiences that can unfold as one’s Qigong practice deepens. You’ll also learn about the 12 energy points along the Microcosmic Orbit, the 7 Chakras from Traditional Yoga and the 3 Core Energy Centers (aka Dan Tians). BTW, all of the  links mentioned in this session are located below this video.

 

Training Session #8

In this training session we cover many ways of transforming “exam” anxiety into excitement… and strategies for turning fear into love. We also discuss methods of demonstrating moves for your students and for taking an exam. Additionally we offer insights on how to set up your training space, orienting new students and we touch on ideas for expanding and marketing your group classes or 1-1 sessions.

 

Training Session #9

In our final training session we walk you through the “Mastering the Art of Qigong” manual we’ve prepared for you. This is an in-depth look at the history of ancient Qigong and how it can be used as an integrative mind-body-spirit modality in our modern world. It also includes helpful diagrams, philosophical concepts and a Qigong terms glossary. Additionally we show you how to make adjustments to your form as you progress along your path to becoming a fully certified Satori Qigong instructor.
